Bicycle head protection called "Hövding" offers up to 8x more protection than a conventional bicycle helmet was provided by independence tests and scientific studies proved.
The new version of Hövding is individually adjustable in size and is placed around the neck like a collar. When activated, an advanced algorithm registers your movements 200 times per second, and in the event of an accident, the airbag inside the collar deploys within 0.1 seconds. This effectively fixes your neck and protects your head from serious injury.
The use of Hövding 3 in everyday cycling is very simple: You put Hövding around your neck, close the zipper, get on your bike, activate the airbag and off you go. After activation, you will hear a short, friendly confirmation tone. This acknowledges that you are now perfectly protected.
In addition, Hövding can be connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth® via the free APP and so you can use other practical features. It is possible, for example, to notify selected emergency contacts in the event of an accident, including coordinates of the accident location. You can also use this to monitor the remaining battery life and you can find out about your personal and collective cycling data.
Hövding 3 comes with a black base cover that protects it from dirt, sweat and wear. Optionally, you can also purchase a design cover for your Hövding to improve your visibility in road traffic and customize your Hövding.
