The set consists of a multi-layer special rope with a hardened metal core and rubberized metal eyelets at the ends, as well as a U-lock with two shackles of different lengths, which can be used in a variety of ways. Each of the three layers of the high-tech rope fulfils an individual function and thus protects your bike from theft by attacks with bolt cutters, fire and saws.

Securing is done with the "loop-through principle", in which you place the end with the small eyelet around the frame of your bike and a solid object. Then the small eyelet is passed through the large eyelet and the small eyelet is locked with the U-lock to other components of your bike that need to be secured. Thanks to this principle and the flexibility that this lock offers, you will be able to park your bike safely anywhere. The soft surface and the rubberized eyelets also protect the frame from scratches and nothing rattles on the bike while riding.

With the minimalist 80cm of size S, you will always find a place where you can easily get around the frame of your bike or scooter and also secure one of the wheels. In addition, this length takes up little space and weighs just around 700 g.

The eyelet rope of size M with a length of 120 cm and a weight of about 1000 g is a true "all-rounder": You can really get around anywhere with the lock and therefore it can be used in a variety of ways. In most cases, you can additionally secure the front and rear wheels as well as other valuable parts such as the saddle.

The 160 cm "length miracle" eyelet with size L with a weight of approx. 1200 grams is ideal for cargo bikes or bikes with a long wheelbase. Here you can always lock the front and rear wheels together or several bikes at once.

At that time, videos of the first version of the tex-lock eyelet appeared on the net, in which the lock was cracked in a very short time with a saw. After that, the textile lock was revised and provided with a hardened chain inside, which significantly improved the resistance to sawing. The fact that the current version of the tex-lock eyelet is safe has been independently confirmed several times and is in combination with the large X-lock bracket with the British "Sold Secure Gold" certification. In addition, the Dutch ART2 certificate applies to the bundle of rope and U-lock, regardless of the shackle length.

The tex-lock eyelet is not only comparatively light, but also easy to handle due to its enormous flexibility, comparable to a rope, and thus versatile. Unlike a rigid U-lock the tex-lock can be placed like a snake around and through all kinds of objects.
