G-RAY-E2 E-Bike Taillight with brake light function
Due to the recently entered into force amendment of the Road Traffic Authorisation Regulations (StVZO) for bicycle light, there are also interesting options for e-bike riders to make themselves more visible in the dark. An important change should be that brake lights are now also allowed on the bicycle in Germany.
The German manufacturer Litecco has taken the new legal possibilities into account and created an intelligent, sensor-controlled rear light: G-RAY-E2. With the tail light for mounting on the luggage rack, e-bikes up to 25 km/h can be easily and quickly retrofitted with the safety-relevant brake-light function. This is triggered by an accelerometer, which activates the deceleration light when the acceleration is negative and makes two additional power LEDs light up brightly. This will warn road users behind you if you suddenly need to brake.
With the version, the following new features have been added:
Terrain Scan Control (T S C)
The "Terrain Scan Control" function analyzes the road conditions and thus avoids disturbing and irritating false triggering of the brake light due to unevenness.
A permanent calibration is also new in order to be able to guarantee a permanently reliable function. The light is now not calibrated every time it is switched on, but only has to be made once and then remains stored.
The G-RAY-E2 is approved according to StVZO for e-bikes up to 25 km/h. So why do you want to do without more safety when the legislator takes into account the latest state-of-the-art bicycle technology and thus enables important new functions?
